Role & seniority: QA Tester (contract)
Stack/tools: Manual testing plus automated approaches (model-based testing, record-and-replay where suitable); functional, regression, data validation, integration, load/performance testing; UAT; defect tracking; multi-vendor ICT environment
Plan and execute testing across new/existing functionality (functional, regression, data validation, system integration, load/performance)
Collaborate with third-party/vendor development and QA teams; design testing strategies and embed QA in the development lifecycle
Plan/create/execute UAT with business stakeholders; document/test results; manage defects to resolution; support business users during UAT
Strong written and verbal communication; ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences
Interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships with internal teams and external partners
Experience in a multi-vendor ICT environment; commitment to quality and continuous improvement
Independent working style; ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
Strong analytical/problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Experience identifying opportunities to automate repeatable test scenarios
Knowledge of automation/testing communities of practice

About the Position Our client have an immediate requirement for a QA tester to join for an initial 12 month period.
The responsibilities outlined below reflect the current scope of the role and may evolve in line with organisational and departmental requirements. The QA Tester will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of systems delivered by internal teams and third-party vendors. Flexibility around working hours may be required during periods of peak activity to support business delivery.
