Salary: 12 weeks 100% paid pa
Role & seniority: Senior Validation Engineer (power electronics focus); 4+ years’ hands-on test engineering experience required.
Stack/tools: High-voltage/high-current power electronics; PCBA schematics and debugging; oscilloscope, multimeter, power analyzers, other test equipment; system-level programming (Go, Rust, C, C++); hardware-software collaboration.
Design, develop, and maintain test systems for high-voltage power electronics; validate electrical, thermal, and performance characteristics across prototype to production.
Conduct regression testing and define manufacturing test specifications for volume production; investigate root causes and drive continuous product improvements.
Collaborate with hardware and firmware teams; assist with test hardware bring-up, system debugging, and software optimization; travel to global facilities as needed.
BS or MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering; 4+ years in test engineering, preferably in power electronics.
Deep understanding of high-voltage/high-current power conversion; experience with PCBA debugging.
Proficient with oscilloscopes, multimeters, power analyzers; programming experience in Go, Rust, C, or C++.
Proactive, accountable, able to own tasks and work with cross-functional teams.
Experience with Solid State Transformer (SST) systems or related fast-paced hardware/software validation.
Familiarity with design-for-test
