Salary: 12 weeks 100% paid pa
Role & seniority: Test/Validation Engineer (entry to mid-level) focused on validating power electronics, thermal systems, and firmware for solid-state transformer hardware.
Stack/tools: High-voltage/high-current power electronics; PCBA schematics and hardware debugging; test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power analyzers); automation using Golang, Rust, C, C++ (or equivalent).
Design, develop, and maintain test systems for HV power electronics; validate electrical, thermal, and performance across prototype to production.
Conduct regression testing, define manufacturing test specs, and drive product improvements through root-cause analysis.
Collaborate with hardware and firmware teams, participate in test hardware bring-up, system debugging, and software optimization; travel to facilities as needed.
BS or MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering
1+ years hands-on test engineering experience, preferably in power electronics
Strong HV/high-current understanding and power conversion knowledge
Experience with PCBA schematics, hardware debugging, and test equipment
Proficiency with system-level languages for automation (Golang, Rust, C, C++)
On-site work readiness and proactive, accountable attitude
Experience with regression testing and manufacturing test specifications
Familiarity with hardware bring-up, debugging, and design-for-validation practices
