Title: Director, Counterparty Credit Risk Reporting & Stress Testing
Office Status: Hybrid – New York City
Base Salary: $175,000 – $230,000
Overview A well-established, globally active financial services organization is seeking a senior leader to oversee Credit and Counterparty Risk across its Americas platform. This role is responsible for both stress testing and risk reporting, ensuring that senior leadership, governance forums, and regulatory stakeholders receive accurate, actionable, and decision-ready risk insights. The position offers high visibility, strategic influence, and the opportunity to strengthen risk frameworks, drive automation, and modernize reporting and stress testing infrastructure within a complex, international environment.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the firmwide Credit and Counterparty Risk framework, including stress testing, reporting, and analytics, supporting executive management, board-level committees, and regulatory requirements

Ensure stressed exposure results and risk reports are accurate, timely, interpretable, and fit-for-purpose through robust governance, controls, and data quality standards

Analyze and explain material movements in exposures, including scenario impacts, portfolio changes, and model behavior, providing clear narratives to senior management and regulators

Act as a senior liaison for regulators, internal audit, and internal stakeholders on both stress testing and reporting matters

Partner closely with Risk Management, Front Office, Finance, Technology, and Analytics teams to enhance reporting effectiveness, model implementation, platform performance, and automation

Drive strategic improvements to stress testing methodologies, reporting processes, analytical capabilities, and risk dashboards

Establish and maintain governance for stress testing and reporting, including standards, control frameworks, issue tracking, and escalation procedures

Ensure frameworks, models, and reporting platforms are scalable to support new products, evolving regulations, and business growth

Collaborate with technology teams to design, implement, and optimize stress testing models, reporting tools, and dashboards to improve transparency into counterparty and credit exposures

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of risk professionals, setting expectations for quality, accountability, and continuous improvement
