Role & seniority: Manufacturing/Quality Inspector (Operator I–III progression; second shift)
Stack/tools: Visual and dimensional inspection; reads blueprints; precision measurement tools; pressure test tank with interlocks; safety PPE; basic computer software; documentation/routers
Perform visual and dimensional checks on materials, components, tubes, assemblies, and finished products
Conduct pressure tests per customer-specific PSI/time limits and validate conformance to blueprints and instructions
Ensure safe operation, proper use of safety mechanisms, and maintain a clean, organized, FOD-free work area; identify opportunities for process improvement
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and basic math
Proficiency with precision measurement tools and inspection procedures

Description/Summary Under the general direction of the Manufacturing Supervisor, this position is responsible for testing manufactured pieces based on specific PSI and time limits as outlined by our customers to ensure quality standards. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and with reasonable accommodation when necessary.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Performs visual and dimensional checks on materials, assemblies, tube details, components and finished products. Inspect and test components, parts, tube details, and assemblies to validate conformance to blue prints and instructions by customer and to company operating Determines appropriate fittings (feeds and caps) to perform the test Lifts, positions, connects, disconnects, and removes work pieces from pressure test tank Performs testing based on specific PSI and time limits as outlined by our customers to ensure quality standards Utilize tank interlocks and all safety mechanisms Observe test, inspect for bubble formation, seepage, or water droplets While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
