As a DRAM Module Quality Engineer, you will lead strategic DRAM Module product projects and drive resolution of module quality issues, including root cause analysis and corrective actions, in collaboration with teams across Mexico, Boise, and other global sites. This role requires strong cross-functional coordination and a solid understanding of PCB-level manufacturing processes. You will champion continuous improvement initiatives and ensure best-in-class product quality through proactive analysis and strategic execution. Responsibilities Lead strategic DRAM Module quality projects and programs. Collaborate with planning, engineering, quality, and customer teams to define qualification requirements and resolve issues. Drive “shift left” initiatives to improve product quality early in the development cycle. Participate in Material Review Boards and 8-D task forces to address quality events and minimize customer impact. Monitor product health indicators (manufacturing, test, and quality data) to identify risks and improvement opportunities. Communicate status, challenges, and expectations to Micron leadership. Analyze data from internal systems to support decision-making during excursions, process changes, and experiments. Engage with supplier quality and vendors to drive non-DRAM BOM quality requirements and resolve issues. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience. 10+ years of experience in product quality. 4+ years of experience in projects and programs. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of PCB-level manufacturing processes. Strong collaboration and communication skills across global teams. Preferred Qualifications Experience leading qualification efforts for board-level products (e.g., modules, SSDs). Familiarity with quality event response processes (MRB, 8-D). Ability to extract and interpret complex data for risk assessment and product health monitoring. Proven track record in driving cross-functional initiatives for quality improvement. Experience presenting technical findings to leadership and stakeholders.
