Design, implement, and maintain performance testing frameworks and automated suites for complex distributed systems
Lead performance analysis to identify bottlenecks, perform root-cause analysis, partner with engineering for remediation
Develop realistic performance test scenarios, generate actionable reports, enforce performance standards and SLAs, and integrate tests into CI/CD
5+ years in performance testing/engineering
Hands-on with at least one major performance tool (e.g., JMeter, Gatling, K6, Locust, LoadRunner)
Programming/scripting: Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Go
Strong understanding of distributed systems, APIs, databases, caching, networking; ability to analyze metrics and diagnose bottlenecks
