Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant, Senior QA Test Automation Engineer!

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing automated testing solutions to ensure the quality and performance of software applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop robust test strategies and frameworks that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing process.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java for UI and API testing. Collaborate with development teams to understand application features and design comprehensive test plans. Execute test cases, analyze results, and report defects using appropriate tools. Enhance existing automation frameworks and integrate them with CI/CD pipelines. Identify, document, and track software defects to ensure resolution. Coordinate with stakeholders to clarify requirements and expectations. Analyze performance test results to identify bottlenecks and suggest improvements.

Qualifications we seek in you! Minimum Qualifications Experience in software application testing, including test automation Proficiency in Java programming Basic understanding of SQL for queries and validation Exposure to UI and API test automation tools like Selenium or Playwright Demonstrated experience in designing and building an automation framework from the ground up. Proven track record of rolling out an automation framework across teams or projects. Hands‑on experience in managing, maintaining, and continuously improving the automation framework. Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills Experience building end-to-end automation frameworks Ability to analyze performance test results and identify areas for improvement Familiarity with FIX protocol and capital markets/equities Experience working with Maven and CI/CD implementation Skills in performance testing tools such as LoadRunner or JMeter
