We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer QA who can design, build, and scale automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript, and who actively uses AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot and Cursor to accelerate test creation, improve coverage, and optimize automation workflows.
This is a high-impact, hands-on automation role, not a manual QA position.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Playwright automation frameworks using TypeScript Build scalable, reusable test automation from scratch for web applications Leverage AI coding tools (GitHub Copilot / Cursor) to accelerate test development and improve productivity Automate UI and REST API test scenarios Collaborate closely with software engineers, architects, and product teams Define test strategies, test plans, and automation coverage Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI, etc.) Analyze failures, debug flaky tests, and improve test stability Ensure high quality and faster release cycles in cloud-hosted / SaaS environments
Mandatory Skills (Non-Negotiable)
Playwright automation (strong hands-on) TypeScript for automation scripting Experience using GitHub Copilot and/or Cursor for test development 4 - 8 years of experience in test automation engineering Strong experience with API automation (REST) Experience working in CI/CD pipelines Experience testing modern web applications
Good To Have / Preferred
BDD tools like Cucumber Experience with cloud platforms / SaaS testing Database testing experience (SQL / NoSQL) Knowledge of test design patterns (POM, fixtures, hooks) Experience reducing flaky tests and improving test reliability
