Role Overview The QA Engineer – Core Banking is responsible for leading and executing quality assurance activities for complex, enterprise-grade applications, with a strong focus on Core Banking and financial systems. The role ensures that software meets functional, performance, security, and regulatory standards, while contributing to test strategy, automation, and continuous quality improvement.

Key Responsibilities Define and execute comprehensive test strategies and test plans for Core Banking and enterprise applications Perform and oversee functional, integration, regression, UAT, performance, and security testing Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts Validate integrations between Core Banking, CRM, ERP, and external systems Identify, log, prioritize, and track defects to closure Collaborate closely with development, DevOps, and product teams to resolve critical issues Drive QA best practices, automation strategies, and process improvements Define and enforce QA standards, metrics, and governance Execute performance, load, and stress testing to ensure system scalability Support CI/CD pipelines and continuous testing Ensure compliance with security, audit, and regulatory requirements Prepare QA reports, test documentation, and release sign-off artifacts

Required Experience & Qualifications 8+ years of hands-on experience in software testing / QA Strong experience testing enterprise-grade applications Hands-on experience with Core Banking systems (mandatory) Proven experience in financial services or regulated environments Solid understanding of QA methodologies and SDLC Experience working with cross-functional technical teams

Technical Expertise Functional, Integration, Regression, UAT, Performance & Security Testing

Test Automation tools: Playwright, Selenium, or similar

Automation scripting: Java, Python, JavaScript

CI/CD pipelines: Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar

Version control: Git

Test management & defect tracking: Jira, TestRail, Zephyr Performance & Load testing tools Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills
