Specialist (f/m/d) Test Engineer ConnectedCar Applications

As a Quality Test Engineer, you will be an integral member of our In-Vehicle Infotainment team. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the quality and reliability of Hyundai and Kia’s connected car applications by implementing and maintaining customer quality requirements for the European market. This role involves close collaboration with our Korean headquarters as well as with internal and external partners, with a strong focus on executing test cases and identifying, documenting, and reporting issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Executing functional, integration, and regression testing of in-vehicle infotainment and connected car applications for Hyundai and Kia
• Troubleshooting customer issues by validating application behavior through test case execution and supporting field and audit test drives
• Identifying, documenting, and tracking issues and bugs, ensuring clear communication and consistent follow-up with development teams and relevant stakeholders
• Reviewing, proposing, and supporting the implementation of specification and requirement updates to continuously enhance product quality
• Acting as a quality interface for customer-related topics by collecting, analyzing, and addressing feedback and Voice of Customer (VOC) concerns
• Serving as a key coordination point between European stakeholders, content providers, and the Korean headquarters to ensure alignment on quality standards and testing results

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Experience in mobile application testing, including the use of JIRA and other project management or issue-tracking tools
• Basic understanding of APIs and their role in application integration and testing
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities, combined with a high attention to detail
• Solid understanding of automotive business environments and customer-facing applications
• Ability to diagnose and resolve issues related to smartphone applications interacting with in-vehicle infotainment systems
• Strong teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional environments
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken Willingness to travel within Europe when required
• Valid EU driving license
