Role & seniority: Senior/Staff Automotive Test Engineer (End-to-End/Connected Car testing) on MB R&D North America’s US Vehicle Integration team.
Stack/tools: Embedded automotive systems; ECU updates; vehicle diagnostics/tools; voice recognition/UI concepts; cloud API integration; scripting/automation; test case/script development; defect tracking; test data management.
Plan, lead, and execute end-to-end testing for connected car services with local/global suppliers.
Create, run, and maintain functional test cases/scripts; organize test sessions; manage defects and re-run failed tests.
Coordinate test data/variants with release management, review supplier/test results, mentor junior engineers, and support test drives.
BS in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field; 5+ years automotive embedded experience.
Ability to understand software/hardware requirements and vehicle architectures; ECU updates and diagnostics tools.
Strong analytical skills, independent work capability, Voice Recognition/UI expertise, valid driver’s license.
Willingness to work from Long Beach, CA and relocate to Atlanta, GA in July 2026; travel 10-15%.
Automotive OEM/Tier-1 experience; HMI/Voice/UI background.
Cloud API integration experience; scripting/automation skills; ISTQB certification; deep MB vehicle knowledge.
