Full Description

Summary

We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer to support a collaborative, fast-moving engineering team. This role involves working closely with internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure high-quality delivery across multiple Web applications and systems. The ideal candidate takes initiative, communicates effectively, and thrives in an environment where priorities evolve rapidly.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for Web applications and related services. Build and enhance UI and API automation. Collaborate with developers, QA analysts, product owners, and external vendors. Define test strategies and acceptance criteria for new features and enhancements. Perform functional, regression, and integration testing to ensure end-to-end application quality. Analyze test results, document findings, and partner with teams to resolve defects. Support test data preparation, environment readiness, and continuous QA process improvements. Participate in and support user acceptance testing (UAT).

Requirements

1+ year of experience designing and executing automated test suites for Web applications. Hands-on experience with test automation tools. Solid understanding of QA methodologies across UI, API, and integration testing. Familiarity with Cloud-based environments (e.g., Azure) and ability to validate Cloud-executed automation. Ability to write and execute SQL queries for test data creation and validation. Experience with Azure-based automation frameworks and tooling. Experience using commercial test automation tools and scripting in JavaScript or C#. Strong SQL query-writing and troubleshooting skills. Testing background involving custom applications and data integrations. Experience bridging QA and development teams including supporting custom automation frameworks.

This is a hybrid one-year Contract opportunity with the potential to convert with our MN client.
