Role & seniority: Senior Software Engineer (QA automation)

Top 3 responsibilities

  • Participate in all development lifecycle stages: story creation/review, design, coding, testing, code reviews, automated tests, and support

  • Translate regulatory sustainability requirements into product/configurations; develop ESG analytics calculation rules

  • Collaborate with Scrum team and stakeholders to deliver defined “done” within sprints and continuously improve the codebase

Must-have skills

  • Master’s degree/PhD in Finance, CS, Engineering, or related field

  • Knowledge of capital markets/investment management and ESG solutions (a plus)

  • Proficiency with XML and C# (or similar language)

  • QA experience and automated testing; ability to handle complex topics

  • Strong communication in English; motivated, self-driven, improvement-focused

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with ESG regulatory configurations and Azure-based solutions

  • Familiarity with SimCorp Dimension ecosystem

  • Location & work type: Noida, India; Scrum team; hybrid work model (office ~2 days/week with remote options)

As part of Deutsche Börse Group - in Product Development, ESG area - we build innovative, efficient and attractive ESG offers that are of the high importance for our clients and the market.

We are seeking professionals who are eager to create innovative solutions in a culture that values trust and teamwork. You will work with configuration within our system SimCorp Dimension.

As part of our scrum team located in Noida, you will play a crucial role in delivering solutions within our system SimCorp Dimension and the Azure cloud while working closely with the Product Owner. You have the opportunity to learn about financial investments and develop solutions for ESG.

What You Will Be Responsible For

You will apply your expertise to all stages of the development lifecycle, including creation and review of user stories, development, design, testing, coding, code reviews, writing automated tests, and support. You will be using multiple technologies, and your responsibilities will also include

Translate regulatory sustainability requirements into a product and innovations Create a standard configuration for sustainability regulations and standards Develop ESG analytics calculation rules based on domain-specific language Develop new functionality and continuous improvements to the existing code base Collaborating with your Scrum team to reach the definition of done within each sprint Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs and get fast feedback Constantly learning and improving yourself, the team and our product, including working with modern engineering practices such as test-driven development, pair and mob programming.
