Project Role: Quality Engineering Lead (Test Lead)

Project Role Description: Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

Summary: As a Quality Engineering Lead, you will lead a team of quality engineers, guiding them through the complexities of multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality applications. You will develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies, utilizing quality processes and methodologies to enhance the application lifecycle. By applying your business and functional knowledge, you will define key metrics to manage and assess the testing process, ensuring effective test execution and defect resolution. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Facilitate training and mentoring for junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge. - Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Selenium, API Testing, Python (Programming Language), Automated Testing. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner. - Strong understanding of software development life cycle and testing methodologies. - Experience in developing automated test scripts and frameworks. - Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment practices. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Selenium. - This position is based at our Gurugram office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
