Job Description Sr. QA Engineer - PA26DIGIQ1014 Company:** SS&C Fintech Svc India - Pune --- Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior QA Engineer to join our dynamic team in Pune. This role involves ensuring the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge fintech products through comprehensive testing, automation, and continuous improvement of QA processes. --- Job Responsibilities * Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for complex software applications, focusing on functionality, performance, security, and usability. * Automate test cases using industry-standard tools and frameworks, integrating them into the CI/CD pipeline for efficient and continuous testing. * Perform various types of testing including functional, regression, integration, system, performance, and user acceptance testing. * Identify, document, and track software defects, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution. * Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and developers to understand project requirements and ensure testability. * Contribute to the improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance overall product quality and team efficiency. * Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior QA engineers. * Participate in code reviews and design discussions to provide a quality perspective. * Monitor and analyze test results, provide comprehensive reports, and make recommendations for product improvements. * Stay up-to-date with the latest QA trends, tools, and technologies. --- Job Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. * 5+ years of progressive experience in software quality assurance, with a strong focus on automation. * Proven expertise in designing and implementing robust test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, TestNG, JUnit). * Strong proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#, JavaScript). * Solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes. * Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI) and database testing (SQL). * Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps). * Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment. * Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills. * Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly. * Prior experience in the FinTech domain is a significant plus. * ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus.
