Lead and manage testing team, providing guidance and mentorship to team members. Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies and plans tailored to P&C insurance applications. Design, execute, and maintain detailed test cases and test scripts based on business requirements and technical specifications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business processes and ensure thorough testing coverage. Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with the client's development teams to ensure timely resolution. Conduct regression testing to ensure existing functionality is not impacted by new changes. Design/update/execute automated test scripts to validate the user stories and ensure adequate test coverage Work with the automated regression team to make sure scripts are updated in the common automation repository Provide detailed reports on testing progress, coverage, and results to stakeholders. Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in functional testing and P&C insurance.
5+ years of experience in the P&C insurance industry. Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices. Experience with test management tools such as JIRA, ADO or similar. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
