Role & seniority: Quality Engineering Intern (undergraduate, junior/senior)

Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Intern the student will assist the Quality Team with projects impacting yields, performance and supporting Quality Systems, Suppliers, Auditing, Manufacturing, Mass Production and NPI. What a typical day looks like: Involvement with different Quality areas (Supplier Quality, Material Review Board (MRB), Quality Systems, Manufacturing Quality Engineering, NPI (New Product Introduction) Analyze data and process flow procedures Research and create various reports and procedures as needed Collaborate with Engineering Teams to address Quality issues related to suppliers and products, auditing results and overall improvement of KPI’s Attend team meetings and support project work as needed Student qualities we’re seeking for this internship assignment: Junior/Senior student currently enrolled student majoring in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical & Computer Engineering (undergrad) Risk Analysis coursework Enthusiastic about working in a manufacturing environment Highly collaborative, creative and excellent communication skills MS Office Suite Minitab or Statistical Software and basic concepts on Quality Core Tools and Management system Strong verbal, presentation and written communication skills Previous Quality related internship experience a plus!
