Role & seniority: QA/Test Engineer (Mid–Senior) on Accenture Flex program, on-site in local metro area
Stack/tools: Medicaid mainframe (JCL, COBOL, batch jobs); End-to-End testing; SDLC/QA methodologies; reporting, defect logs; Azure DevOps (preferred); SQL (preferred); Change Management tools (preferred)
Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test scripts for Medicaid mainframe systems; perform E2E testing including integration and UAT
Collaborate with business users, external partners, and technical teams to ensure test coverage; maintain test documentation and defect logs; provide timely reporting
Identify/escalate risks and issues; support data validation and environment configuration for test cycles; back-up E2E Lead as needed
4+ years Medicaid domain experience (MMIS, claims, eligibility, provider enrollment)
Mainframe experience: JCL, COBOL, batch job execution
Strong SDLC/QA methodology understanding; excellent communication and analytical skills
