Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to

support sprint-based delivery teams by designing, developing, and maintaining

automated test solutions for enterprise applications. The role requires strong

hands-on experience with Selenium and Python, exposure to Katalon Studio, and

the ability to collaborate closely with QA Leads, Developers, and Business

stakeholders to ensure high-quality, scalable solutions in a regulated

enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and enhance automation test frameworks, with a strong emphasis on Selenium Design and execute automated test scripts using Python and/or Java Develop and coordinate test design, updates, and execution strategies for sprint-based Agile teams Collaborate with QA Leads to create and maintain comprehensive QA test plans for cross-vertical initiatives Design and execute white-box / technical tests to validate internal code logic and application behavior Create functional and non-functional test cases based on user stories and acceptance criteria Execute test cases, document pass/fail results, and log defects in defect tracking tools Actively participate in defect triage, working closely with Developers, UAT testers, and stakeholders to drive timely resolution Implement and maintain best-practice test management processes to ensure efficient workflows and quality standards Communicate effectively with System Developers, Business System Analysts, and QA team members through clear verbal and written communication

Required Skills & Qualifications

6-8 years of overall QA experience with a strong focus on test automation Hands-on experience with Selenium, with strong emphasis on framework maintenance and enhancement Strong programming experience in Python; exposure to Java required 2-3 years of Java experience at a basic to intermediate developer level preferred Experience working with Katalon Studio for test automation Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum, SDLC, and STLC Experience creating automated tests for functional and non-functional requirements Proficiency with defect tracking and test management tools (JIRA, ALM, etc.) Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills

Experience testing enterprise-scale applications Exposure to API automation and service-level testing Experience working in regulated environments (insurance, banking, financial services) Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution Experience collaborating with distributed/offshore teams
