Design, develop, and execute automated test cases for features, services, and platform components across API, service, and UI layers
Validate functional workflows, data flows, API integrations, data integrity, and security/compliance aspects; maintain regression suites
Collaborate with Platform/DevOps to integrate quality gates into CI/CD; translate requirements into test strategies and coordinate with stakeholders
1–4 years in Software Testing/Quality Engineering with hands-on test automation
Experience with functional, regression, integration, API, and UI testing
Proficiency in OOP languages (C#, Java, Python, JS/TS) and SQL/NoSQL data validation
Familiarity with test frameworks (NUnit, TestNG, JUnit, XUnit) and CI/CD workflows
Knowledge of SDLC, testing methodologies, debugging; strong problem-solving and communication
Healthcare, Pharmacy, or PBM domain familiarity; Medicare Part D, CMS regulations
Experience in Agile/Scrum environments

EmpiRx Health is in unprecedented growth, and we're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Development Engineer in Test II. In this critical role, The Software Development Engineer in Test II (SDET II) is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of EmpiRx Health’s enterprise applications, including AI-enabled healthcare platforms, APIs, microservices, and customer-facing portals. This role designs, develops, and executes automated and manual tests to validate functional correctness, integration reliability, and end-to-end system behavior.
The SDET II collaborates closely with Software Engineers, DevOps, Product Owners, and Business Analysts to implement scalable testing strategies aligned with business requirements, regulatory compliance, and modern CI/CD practices. This position contributes to continuous improvement by supporting automation coverage, debugging test failures, and strengthening quality practices across the software development lifecycle.
