Role & seniority: QA Automation Tester, 2-4 years of relevant QA/QA Analyst experience
Stack/tools: JIRA; Confluence; TestRail (test management); BugBug automation tool; API testing with Postman/Insomnia; web-based applications; browser console/network analysis
Create and execute automated (functional/regression) and manual test cases; document system behavior for accuracy
Collaborate with QA, product, and engineering; advise on acceptance criteria and perform peer reviews
Conduct end-to-end testing, troubleshoot/escalate issues, and identify test cases suitable for automation; support sprint testing
2-4 years QA/QA Analyst experience; strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Experience with JIRA and Confluence; writing/executing test cases in test management tools
REST API testing via Postman/Insomnia; testing of web applications including browser console/network traffic
Excellent communication; ability to own tasks through to completion; experience with regression testing
Experience with TestRail; Postman familiarity
Scrum/Agile team experience; automation experience or willingness to learn quickly
Exposure to no/low-code automation tools

Zipdve is looking for a QA Automation Tester to join our remote team! A typical day for our QA Analyst role would include a daily standup and attending team’s Scrum ceremonies, while working on writing and executing manual test cases. Workload is tracked via tickets in JIRA. Tickets are moved through our development teams to QA where they’re manually tested, test cases created and evaluated for the automation by the QA Automation team. QA Analysts will be present throughout the process from advising on possible acceptance criteria for user stories to coming up with and writing test cases in our Test Management software (currently TestRail) for new features.
Experience testing REST APIs through an API Client platform such as: Postman, or Insomnia. Experience with writing and executing test cases in test management software. In depth experience testing web based applications including reviewing browser console & network traffic. Experience with regression testing enterprise software. Excellent communication skills
