The QA Analyst will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and security of multi-platform software products. This position involves testing web, mobile, and desktop applications, validating functionality, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software. You will design and execute test plans, develop automated testing scripts, and ensure compliance with security and privacy standards. Accountabilities
Execute comprehensive manual and automated testing across web, mobile (iOS/Android), and desktop (macOS/Windows) applications.
Develop, document, and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and regression suites.
Identify, track, and verify resolution of bugs using tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
Conduct API testing and validate backend services for functionality and reliability.
Collaborate with product, engineering, and security teams in Agile development processes to ensure high-quality releases.
Test security, access controls, data privacy, and encryption to ensure platform integrity.
Contribute to improving QA processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and coverage.
Requirements
3+ years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance.
Expertise in testing across multiple platforms: web/SaaS applications, mobile apps, and desktop clients.
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, functional/regression/integration testing, and test case management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Insomnia) and basic database/SQL validation.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum workflows.
Security-conscious mindset with experience testing authentication, permissions, and privacy features.
