Own manual testing across iOS, Android, and Web; perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing for new features and existing functionality.
Drive end-to-end API testing and strategic automation initiatives to reduce reliance on manual tests.

3+ years in QA or SDET; strong manual and automated testing capabilities.

Manual Testing Ownership: Immediately take ownership of critical manual testing responsibilities, ensuring the timely and high-quality release of our iOS, Android, and Web applications. This includes comprehensive functional, regression, and exploratory testing of new features and existing functionalities.
End-to-End API Testing: Take part in our E2E API testing, ensuring every backend service release is timely and high-quality. This includes functional, regression, and exploratory testing for new features and existing functionalities.
Strategic Automation Drive: Dedicate significant time to researching, designing, developing, and implementing robust, scalable automated test frameworks and suites for UI, API, and integration layers across mobile (iOS, Android) and web platforms. Your goal will be to significantly reduce the reliance on manual testing over time.
Test Plan & Strategy Development: Develop and evolve comprehensive test strategies and plans for major features and critical product initiatives, encompassing functional, performance, security, and accessibility testing.
Shift-Left Quality Advocate: Embed quality practices earlier in the development lifecycle by collaborating closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams from inception through deployment.
Performance & Reliability Contribution: Contribute to implementing and monitoring performance, scalability, and reliability testing, working with SRE and backend teams to identify bottlenecks and ensure optimal application performance under load.
Data-Driven Insights: Utilize telemetry, analytics, and crash reporting tools to gather insights into user behavior and identify areas for quality improvement.
Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, providing technical guidance and contributing to a culture of knowledge sharing and technical excellence within the engineering organization.
Customer-Centric Focus: Act as a strong advocate for the end-user, ensuring a seamless, intuitive, and consistent experience across all platforms, and actively incorporating customer feedback into testing efforts.
