Role & seniority: QA Lead to head Kaltura’s QA Guild; 7+ years QA experience with prior mentoring/leadership.
Stack/tools: test automation frameworks (FE, BE, API, E2E), performance/load testing, AI-assisted QA tools, CI/CD workflows; working knowledge of frontend, backend, API testing; cloud environments (AWS; nice-to-have).
Lead and coordinate the QA Guild; mentor QA engineers and team leads.
Promote automation-first and AI-assisted QA practices; design/maintain test automation frameworks across FE/BE/API/E2E.
Drive performance and load testing for complex, distributed systems; define/improve QA processes and quality metrics; collaborate with R&D, DevOps, and Product.
7+ years in QA with leadership/mentoring experience.
Hands-on test automation and performance testing expertise.
Strong QA methodologies knowledge (Agile/Scrum) and CI/CD experience; able to work across multiple teams; good communication.
Experience using AI tools to improve QA processes.
Experience with OTT/Media/Video platforms.
Programming skills (Java / Python / JavaScript).

Requirements The role Kaltura is looking for a QA lead. You will lead Kaltura’s QA Guild and help drive the evolution of our QA practices across the company. This role focuses on improving quality, automation, and testing methodologies for our large-scale verticals, while working closely with R&D teams to support fast and reliable delivery.
