Job DetailsJob Location: NEA Dental - Dunwoody, GA 30338Title of Position: Software Engineer in Test II Managerial Responsibilities: None Job Family: Engineering Discipline: Software Engineer in Test Classification: Exempt GENERAL SUMMARY Responsible for designing and implementing automated test cases for software modules, collaborating on testing priorities, executing tests, reporting defects, keeping current with testing technologies, and reviewing code. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: • Design and implement automated and manual test cases to ensure the quality of software products • Collaborate with software engineers and other stakeholders to define and prioritize testing efforts • Write clear and concise test plans and test cases • Execute automated and manual tests and report on test results • Reproduce and report software defects and work with software engineers to ensure their resolution • Stay up-to-date with emerging testing technologies and methodologies • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to software engineers on testability and quality • Maintain compliance with the knowledge requirements outlined on the department intranet site • Other duties as assigned. EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a related position • Advanced in one programming language(s) such as JavaScript, Java, C#, etc. • Intermediate level knowledge of software testing methodologies and techniques • Intermediate level experience with automated testing tools and frameworks • Advanced level problem-solving skills • Intermediate level ability to write clear and concise test plans and test cases • Intermediate level communication and interpersonal skills • high level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation. • Intermediate level ability to work effectively in a team environment. • Applicable Bachelors Degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
