Job Description
Responsible for supporting integration, test, and calibration activities on complex ground/airborne electronics systems on numerous programs.
Essential Functions
System and subsystem troubleshooting to component level Subsystem pre-operational checks in accordance with applicable engineering documentation Configures/prepares LRUs and subsystem components for single and multi-thread interface and operation LAN harness assembly testing per released engineering and technical specifications Fiber optic harness assembly testing per released engineering and technical specifications Length, Phase Matching, and anomaly testing of RF harness assembly subsets per released engineering and technical specifications Aircraft Group B load of LRU’s, amplifiers, and circuit cards. Must be willing to load up to 50 Lbs. individually Create and update Microsoft Excel spreadsheets Identifies subsystem LRU failures and takes appropriate troubleshooting actions to repair, replace, and retest when necessary Identifies hardware, software, and firmware anomalies and recommends repair/corrective actions via several enterprise software applications Supports EMI/Tempest testing of various airborne subsystems Supports software and hardware development integration activities Aircraft pre-flight activities to ensure system and subsystem flight readiness

Employs several COTS and organic software applications to complete test activities May be responsible for the preparation and/or review of engineering documents Advises and assists in effecting design changes to improve operational capability, equipment efficiency, and reduce cost of operation Frequent technical interface with various functional organizations, as well as local and offsite customers
Qualifications
Successful candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree and 2 years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and related experience. Minimum education and years of experience requirements are not to be used exclusive of other leveling factors. Substitution of additional relevant education and experience for stated qualifications may be considered. Candidate must be willing to travel both CONUS and OCONUS up to 25 percent of the time. Must be willing to work multiple shifts. Candidate must currently hold or have the unrestricted ability to obtain a U.S. DOD Secret Security clearance. Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DOD Top Secret Security clearance with SCI is required. Experience with Mission/communications systems aboard military airborne and/or ground based platforms, Ideal candidate would be able to pass a FAA Class III medical exam, duties may include flying.
