Our client, a global crypto exchange, is are actively seeking an experienced QA Engineer to join their dynamic team, to ensure the highest quality of their software products and services. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing test strategies to validate their platform’s functionality, performance, and security. Your expertise in Python and Unix/Linux environments will be critical in improving their QA processes. The team has multiple headcounts and are looking for both a manual testing engineer and automation testing engineer.

The role

• Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies for various components of the cryptocurrency exchange platform, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Design and develop automated test scripts using Python to efficiently validate application features and maintain test coverage.
• Conduct manual testing when necessary, including exploratory testing, to identify issues and enhance user experience.
• Collaborate with the development team to perform performance, load, and security testing, ensuring the platform is robust and secure.
• Identify, document, and track defects in the issue management system. Collaborate with development teams to facilitate timely resolution.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and practices, providing recommendations for tools and methodologies to enhance testing efficiency.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and operations, to ensure alignment on project requirements and testing scope.

What you offer

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance or a related field, preferably within the fintech or crypto trading space.
• Strong proficiency in Python for test automation and scripting preferred. Candidates who have strong Java experience will also be considered.
• Solid experience with Unix/Linux systems for setting up testing environments and executing tests.
• Familiarity with various testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, pytest, JUnit) for both automated and manual testing.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate issues clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple priorities.
