Responsibilities

Functional validation experience across Mobile (Android, iOS) and Rest APIs. Automation across Web, Mobile (iOS, Android), Connected devices and Backend (Microservices). Testing (Manual and Automation) applications for various platforms. Understanding of software quality best practices, test strategy and planning, test case development, test case execution, deployment, test data, defect tracking, and test automation. Evaluate and select the best usage of test automation tools for different purposes. Collaborate with product teams to understand business requirements and develop test scenarios/cases. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and changing priorities. Identifying critical issues before the application is released to production. Establishing Critical Success Factors to improve the best practices on Automation. Build effective Automation suites enabling faster QE cycles. Manage, resolve technical issues related to automation, streamline processes, and improve efficiency as per industry standards. Create a testing metrics sheet, and help team leads to estimate the effectiveness of their test approach.

Requirements

BE/ BTech in any specialisation. BSc/ BCA/ MCA in Computer Science/ Information Technology. Good to have ISTQB level 1 or level 2 Proficiency in debugging tools and defect tracking tools such as Jira, Charleand s, and Fiddler. Proficient in MySQL, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL (MongoDb) environments. Good knowledge of API and Services testing (RestAssured, Karate, SOAP UI, Postman, or similar tools). Good understanding of Android Architecture, iOS Architecture and their components. Experience of working on GCP cloud and SaaS based environments. Experienced with Agile/DevOps delivery principles and quality assurance methodologies. Specialised in analysing business requirements and converting those into automation test scenarios and test cases. Knowledge of bash scripting is a plus. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships across all levels in the organisation. Familiarity with remote execution tools like Sauce Labs, BrowserStack, pCloudy, Selenium Grid, etc. Must have commanding knowledge of Maven/Gradle/Ant/TestNG. Should have sound knowledge of CICD tools (Bamboo/Jenkins/Bitrise). Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Thrive in a self-motivated, internal innovation-driven environment.
