Requirements
- Several years’ experience as a QA Engineer / Test Automation Engineer
Backend Test automation focus (NOT: User Interface focus) Experienced writing test cases, coding in test tools and testing end-to-end flows between several applications Experienced with Application-to-Application test automation tasks and setting format and protocols. Banking or Financial industry experience
Soft Skills /Bonus

- You have experience of working with complex systems and/or large/complex projects and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- You are used to networking and using your communicative ability when working with stakeholder management in several areas.

Description
- The area of Custody is running a major transformation, implementing a new IT platform that will support our business and operation in future proofing the services in the area. You will get the opportunity to contribute to the transformation by working with requirements in this initiative.
- Looking for a Senior QA Engineer, that will provide expertise knowledge and support for test automation, performance testing, and migration testing. Part of assignment will be to mentor/guide system and acceptance testers in how to test efficiently in a large program like NGC. You will also be responsible for hands-on work with integration testing and providing capabilities for test automation.
- As Senior QA Engineer you will also secure proper structure in the testing needed for the initiative. You will work towards stakeholders as Program Test Lead, Chief Product Owners, Product Owners, Architects, Tech Leads, Tech teams, Project Managers and Managers.
- A Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for ensuring that software products and systems meet the required standards of quality before they are released to end users. QA Engineers work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and identify potential risks and defects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases based on product requirements and specifications.
- Perform manual and automated testing to identify bugs, usability issues, or performance bottlenecks.
- Report and track defects using bug tracking tools, ensuring clear documentation of issues for developers.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand features and technical implementations.
- Conduct regression, integration, and performance testing to ensure ongoing product stability.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and tools. You will be a part of the newly established Department and work against several teams and stakeholders. You will get the opportunity to discuss problems and opportunities with other roles in the program but still be self-governing and plan your own schedule.
