Description The Private Cloud Automation Engineer will be responsible for the definition, planning, and execution of building automation to enable usage of a private cloud environment in classified data center environments. The ideal candidate will have a broad range of experience with industry-standard virtualization tools for computer, networking, and storage. The candidate must have a good understanding of public cloud concepts, including what end users expect from a self-service provisioning platform.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and develop the end-to-end flow for creating new tenants and users across multiple products using existing APIs.
- Create blueprints to deploy private cloud services through Morpheus.
- Working with different teams to understand manual workflows and then converting them to automation targets.
Requirements
Required Skills
- Strong background in modern datacenter technologies.
- Customer-focused engineering mindset.
- Experience with at least one public cloud provider preferred.
- Scripting experience with Python.
- Experience consuming REST APIs and other WebService endpoints.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
- Top Secret clearances required
