Job Title: Senior QA Automation Engineer Job Summary We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to design and lead an automation-first QA practice. The role centers on Robot Framework with Python as the primary automation stack, supported by Playwright and Selenium for UI and cross-browser testing. You will help transition a largely manual QA setup into a scalable, well-documented automation framework. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain automated test scripts using Robot Framework (primary) with Python Develop UI and cross-browser automation using Playwright and Selenium Define and implement QA automation processes, transforming manual testing into a structured, automation-first practice Document test cases, execution results, and QA processes using QMetry Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and product managers to ensure comprehensive test coverage for real-time dashboards and data sources Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to enable faster and higher-quality releases Manage test cases, reporting, and defect tracking using Jira, QMetry, or similar tools Mentor and guide team members in adopting modern automation tools and best practices Document automation frameworks, test strategies, and QA processes to build a sustainable knowledge base Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives Required Skills & Experience Strong hands-on experience with Robot Framework and Python Experience with Playwright and Selenium for UI and cross-browser testing Proven ability to design and implement QA automation frameworks and processes Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines Hands-on experience with test management tools (QMetry, Jira, or equivalent) Strong understanding of QA methodologies, defect lifecycle, and test strategies Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments Strong communication, documentation, and mentoring skills
