Role & seniority: Automation and Test Engineer (senior level; lead and execute verification/validation in Body and Chassis areas)
Stack/tools: Automotive test automation (CAPL), Vector VT system, VTest Studio; HIL/LabCar; CAN/LIN protocols; dSPACE; CANoe; TestRail, Jira, Confluence (test tracking)
Develop and track test plans; convert test cases to CAPL scripts; execute tests manually and via automation
Perform test execution on bench, HIL, or vehicle platforms; document results and issues in internal systems
Drive continuous improvement of testing efficiency, insights, and deliverables
Strong background in automotive embedded software validation
Hands-on experience with automation and test-case/script execution on HIL/LabCar
Proficiency with CAN/LIN, Vector VT, VTest Studio; familiarity with dSPACE and CANoe
Experience in Body and Chassis domain is preferred
Experience with test management and defect tracking (TestRail, Jira)
Knowledge of CAPL scripting and system-level test case development

Test Plan Development: Development and tracking of test plans Converting test cases to Test (CAPL) scripts Executing the test scripts manually as well as with automation scripts
Test Execution (Bench or Vehicle): Based on scheduled Test Runs and deadline dates, testers will execute testing and report test results/issues on Ford internal systems such as TestRail, Jira, and Confluence Wiki.
Continuous Improvement: Proposals on how testing efficiency, insights, results, and deliverables could be improved
