Summary Our client, a global leader in advanced autonomous and robotic solutions across multiple industries, is seeking Level 1 SDETs who will design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of complex software systems. This role works closely with software development teams in an Agile environment to embed quality throughout the development lifecycle, from requirements through release.
Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites using modern testing tools and technologies. Collaborate with engineering teams to understand requirements and define effective test strategies and plans. Create and maintain detailed test cases, test data, and supporting documentation. Execute automated and manual tests to validate functionality, performance, and reliability. Identify, troubleshoot, and document defects; work with developers to drive timely resolution. Support user acceptance testing and release readiness activities. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and provide regular quality status updates. Execute testing in lab, simulated, and field environments as required. Contribute to continuous improvement of test processes, tools, and overall software quality.
Qualifications
Education & Experience 2–3 years of experience in software testing, software development, or a related role. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
Technical Skills Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and quality assurance best practices. Experience with test management tools such as JIRA or TestRail. Hands-on experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Telerik, TestComplete, JMeter, ReadyAPI, Postman, or similar. Familiarity with one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or C#. Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
Professional Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
