We are looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer to join our Mobile Applications area, with a strong focus on building and owning mobile test automation frameworks. This is a hands-on role centered around automation design, implementation, and long-term maintainability for iOS and Android applications.

The successful candidate will take ownership of the mobile automation framework, ensuring test stability, scalability, and broad regression coverage, while supporting and mentoring QA team members transitioning into automation. Close collaboration with Tech Leads, Developers, and QA is a key part of this role.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain mobile test automation frameworks using Appium (iOS & Android) Own and continuously improve the automation framework, tooling, and test architecture Implement and expand automated regression coverage, with a strong focus on stability and reliability Actively write and maintain automated tests for mobile applications (Android priority, iOS included) Reduce flaky tests and improve test execution consistency and feedback quality Collaborate with Tech Leads and development teams on test strategy, architecture, and integration points Support and mentor QA engineers being upskilled into test automation, allowing them to focus on writing tests rather than framework maintenance Work with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps) to improve automation execution, reporting, and efficiency Contribute to discussions around test infrastructure, including real devices, emulators, and future bespoke device farm solutions Participate in Agile ceremonies and quality-focused initiatives across teams

Skills, Knowledge And Experience

Strong commercial experience as a Senior Test Automation Engineer, focused on mobile applications Hands-on experience with Appium for iOS and Android test automation Strong proficiency in C# (must-have) Solid understanding of mobile application architecture and testing challenges Experience building, maintaining, and owning automation frameworks Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, preferably Azure DevOps Strong focus on test stability, reliability, and regression coverage Experience working closely with developers and technical leadership Ability to mentor and guide other QA engineers in automation best practices

Nice to Have

Experience with bespoke or self-hosted device farms Experience testing complex business-critical mobile applications Familiarity with API testing in support of mobile automation Experience influencing quality practices across multiple teams Knowledge of performance considerations and diagnostics in mobile testing
