Description
We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to help elevate the quality and reliability of our mobile applications. In this key role, you’ll collaborate closely with engineering, product, and QA teams to design and implement robust, scalable mobile test automation solutions.
We welcome candidates with hands-on experience in modern mobile automation frameworks and especially value experience using Appium with languages such as Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or C#.
In this position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring fast, reliable releases by integrating automated testing into our workflows, reporting on product quality, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the technology organization.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated end-to-end mobile test scripts using Appium and related tools. Build and maintain automation for iOS and Android applications (native, hybrid, and/or mobile web). Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand features and define effective test automation coverage. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery. Analyze test results, report defects, and track issues through resolution. Contribute to the continuous improvement of mobile automation frameworks, processes, and best practices. Document test cases, test strategies, and automation results clearly and effectively.
Qualifications
4+ years of experience in test automation, with a strong focus on mobile testing. Hands-on experience with Appium for mobile automation. Experience testing iOS and Android applications. Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or C#). Experience working with CI/CD tools and integrating mobile automation into pipelines. Solid understanding of mobile platforms, device configurations, emulators/simulators, and real-device testing. Familiarity with mobile automation tools such as Appium Inspector, Android Studio, Xcode, or similar. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills. Good written and verbal communication skill

Experience with cloud-based device testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs). Knowledge of mobile performance, accessibility, or security testing. Experience implementing test reporting and analytics for mobile automation.
