About The Role
We are looking for a skilled Mobile QA Engineer with strong hands-on experience in mobile automation testing using Appium to ensure the quality of our mobile applications across both Android and iOS platforms.
The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to improving our overall testing strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test suites for mobile applications using Appium. Execute automated tests and analyze results to ensure high quality of releases. Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA team members on requirements, test planning, and defect resolution. Perform functional, regression, and integration testing across different devices and OS versions. Create and execute detailed test cases, track defects, and ensure clear reporting of bugs. Work with CI/CD tools to integrate automated tests into pipelines for continuous testing. Maintain and evolve test frameworks and test data to support fast delivery cycles.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong experience with Appium for mobile automation (Android & iOS). Solid programming skills in Java, Python, or another relevant language suitable for automation frameworks. Experience building and maintaining automated test frameworks and scripts. Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and test methodologies. Practical knowledge of mobile testing tools, emulators, simulators, and real-device test environments. Comfortable using version control (e.g., Git) and defect tracking tools such as JIRA. Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
