About the role
Join the Agile Robots team as a Working Student QA, where you’ll support the development of robust software frameworks for controlling complex robotic systems. This role offers hands-on experience across the testing lifecycle, including manual and automated testing, as well as hardware-in-the-loop workflows. You'll contribute directly to the quality and performance of our solutions, gaining valuable insights into software development and quality engineering in a fast-paced, international environment.
Your Responsibilities
Execute, document, and report release and regression testing of our software product Maintain and extend test cases within our test management tool Design and implement automated tests across multiple software components Perform hardware-in-the-loop testing, working directly with our cutting-edge robotics systems, including robotic arms, autonomous guided vehicles, and humanoid robots Investigate reported issues, reproduce bugs, and collect relevant technical data to supportdevelopers during debugging Collaborate closely with multiple software engineering teams and product management Provide structured product and usability feedback to improve overall system quality
Your Profile
Enrolled as a student at a university near Munich, available to work on-site at our Munich office Studying IT, engineering, computer science, robotics, or a related field with a software focus Familiarity with at least one software testing framework or approach (manual or automated) Programming experience in at least one programming language Prior experience in QA or software testing Knowledge of or hands-on experience with TypeScript, Python, or C/C++ Excellent command of English, both written and spoken. German / Chinese is a plus Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment A detail-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to quality and reliability A proactive attitude and curiosity to learn about complex software and robotics systems
