Role & seniority: Working Student in Software System Testing & Test Automation (entry/intermediate level, student-focused)
Stack/tools: Python; C/C++; Matlab; Version control (Git, Bitbucket, SVN); Automotive comms protocols (Ethernet, CAN, FlexRay, SPI, I2C); Vehicle Simulation Tools; Software-in-the-Loop (SIL); Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL); hardware test gear (oscilloscopes, programmable power supplies, PCBs, debuggers)
Top 3 responsibilities: (1) Learn how automotive systems work and how tests are executed in HIL environments; (2) Run and automate test cases using Python and internal tools; (3) Analyze failures/bugs and contribute to test documentation
Must-have skills: English (good level); understanding of Test Process/Test Methods; programming ability; knowledge of microcontrollers/microprocessors; electronics; physics; automotive systems
Nice-to-haves: Experience with vehicle simulation tools; familiarity with SIL/HIL workflows; exposure to CI practices and multiple hardware interfaces; interest in reliability/AI applications in mobility
