Design and implement automation systems for manufacturing operations. Work with cross-functional teams to identify automation requirements and improvement opportunities. Develop, test, and optimize automation software. Diagnose and resolve issues in automated systems. Perform routine maintenance and inspections of automation equipment. Train and support operators and maintenance staff. Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with safety standards. Manage and document automation projects and activities. Drive process improvements and cost reductions through automation. Stay current with emerging automation technologies and industry trends.
Qualifications
Technology Courses or College Graduate Certificates from PLC Seminars and Trainings Preferably at least five (5) years’ experience in Manufacturing with direct involvement on Repairs and Maintenance and Machine Improvement PLC and HMI programming Industrial Electrician Training or equivalent Know-how on Electrical and Mechanical Troubleshooting Can use/utilize diagnostic tools Knowledge on VFD’s, Servo and Electric Actuators Basic knowledge of Electro-pneumatics Can read and create ladder diagrams and wiring diagrams Show more Show less
