Job Title: Mainframe Tester
Location: Bengaluru
Experience: 3 - 10 Years
Mainframe Tester to support our Mainframe-to-Cloud Migration initiative. The candidate will have strong expertise in mainframe applications, batch/online processing, and validation of migrated components on cloud platforms. Mainframe Application Testing
Perform testing on mainframe applications (COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, etc.).
Validate business logic, workflows, and data outputs in both legacy and migrated environments.
Cloud Migration Testing
Compare and validate data migrated from mainframe to cloud .
Ensure functional equivalence and identify gaps between mainframe and cloud systems.
Required Skills
Hands-on experience in Mainframe testing (COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, VSAM).
Experience in cloud migration projects
Good understanding of batch processing, file transfers, and job scheduling (Control-M etc.).
Knowledge of data validation techniques and tools.
Experience with SQL, data comparison utilities, and database testing.
Defect tracking tools (JIRA, ALM, etc.).
Strong analytical and communication skills.
