Role Description

Plans, conducts, and leads QA automation initiatives across SaaS solutions. Designs, develops, documents, and implements advanced frameworks that validate functionality, performance, and compliance for Azure cloud-native applications. Applies Agile and DevSecOps practices, OOP design, and SOA knowledge to deliver high-quality, compliant software. Provides technical leadership within teams, mentoring engineers, and shaping QA automation strategy.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, plan, and test web, mobile, and desktop applications through epics, user stories, and design specifications.

• Own automation for assigned features, covering regression, integration, contract, and performance tests.

• Build and enhance test frameworks (Playwright, Pact, xUnit, k6).

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions).

• Ensure requirements and acceptance criteria are testable, complete, and traceable.

• Identify, document, and manage defects using Azure DevOps Boards.

• Review requirements, user stories, technical designs, and peer QA test plans.

• Collaborate with UAT teams, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and Developers to ensure readiness for release.

• Mentor junior QA engineers in automation best practices and coding standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).

• 5–10 years of QA automation engineering experience.
