Jr. QA Engineer 6+ Months Contract 100% Remote in EST hours They can consider 3 years of experience.

OVERVIEW QA Engineer will be responsible for validating new and changes to existing Data Infrastructures, Data Movements, and Data Development. They will use provided test scripts to find bugs in a product or program before it's launched. They will collaborate with developers making suggestions on test scripts and testing criteria.

RESPONSIBILITIES Perform validations in a Quality Assurance (QA) environment. Liaise with internal team (developers and product managers) to identify system requirements. Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback. Collaborate with a developer in the creation of detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases. Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities between development stories. Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs. Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved. Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.

QUALIFICATIONS 3 years of experience in software development 3 years of experience in software quality assurance Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes 3 years of experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting 3 years of Experience in an Agile/Scrum development process Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus. Experience in an integrated development environment Good time-management skills Great interpersonal and communication skills

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, AND/OR REGISTRATION CSTE, CSQA, CAST and/or is a plus
