Coordinate testing across multiple testers/teams; develop, approve, and maintain the test plan

Must-have skills

Extensive testing experience and prior team lead experience
Strong automation knowledge and hands-on automation experience
Ability to define/test acceptance criteria, plans, and standards; good knowledge of hardware/software/data communications; solid communication and stakeholder coordination
Familiarity with insurance domain (high-level)

Nice-to-haves

Experience with test tool deployment and environment/infrastructure specification
Experience with releases, risk management, and internal consultations

Role Specific Responsibilities Include

Coordinate the testing for enhancements and developments with a group of testers/teams
Creating, obtaining approval of and maintaining the test plan
Risk assessment and strategy determination
Creating planning and estimate
Specification of organisation and infrastructure
Specification of procedures and standards
Establishing test plan
Executing the test plan as per plan
Day-to-day coordination of test activities
Monitoring progress
Leading internal consultations
Creating release advice
Participating in project meetings
Assessment of test process.
Test-specific knowledge
Extensive experience in testing
Experience as a team lead
Extensive knowledge about the deployment of test tools.
Automation
Comprehensive automation knowledge and experience
Good knowledge of system development methods
Knowledge of architectures and tools for system development
General knowledge of hardware, software and data communication resources.
General
General knowledge of the Insurance domain and the line organisation
Excellent contact skills and a motivating personality
Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
