Automation Test Engineer

Experience

3–5 years of hands-on automation testing experience

Must-Have Skills

Test Automation

Strong automation testing skills using

• Selenium WebDriver
• Protractor

Hands-on experience in API test automation using

• Rest Assured or similar frameworks
• Strong experience in Web UI application testing
• Tools & Frameworks

Experience using

• Test Management tools
• Defect tracking tools
• Version control systems (Git)
• QA Process & Collaboration

Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams (Development, QA)

Experience contributing to

• Test planning and task definition
• Effort estimation
• QA status and progress reporting

Participation in

• Requirements reviews
• Functional and technical design reviews
• Test script reviews
• Ownership & Execution

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Acts as the primary QA point of contact for assigned application teams Comfortable working both individually and within a team

Good-to-Have Skills

Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution Experience in Agile / DevOps environments Knowledge of additional API or UI automation frameworks
