Responsibilities Oversee the QA team planning, reporting, and defect management. Define, implement, and enforce QA testing methodologies, standards, and practices; and define and gather metrics which drive desired results. Provide QA leadership for project teams Define the scope of testing needed for project efforts, create required documentation, and generate time and cost estimates. Perform QA testing per the test documentation including and not limited to regression testing, system testing, white box testing, and black box testing. Mentor and train other QA resources in all aspects of company and software QA practices. Participate in business requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation. Participate in the design and testing of solutions for new applications and enhancements to existing applications.

Qualifications 10+ years of experience in IT solutions development, testing execution and methodology, and black/white box testing preferably in medium to large systems environments. Logistics and/or transportation management, business analysis, and customer relations experience is desired Expert level in HP UFT (previously QTP), is required System knowledge may include UNIX, Oracle, PL/SQL, Java, C, C++, HTML, Baan/ERP, shell scripting and the suite of Microsoft applications Strong background in of Agile environment and practices Excellent written and verbal communication skills in customer settings and with internal management. Excellent active listening, facilitation and presentation skills. Strong knowledge of QA testing tools, methodologies, concepts, processes, and documentation. Strong knowledge of IT software development life cycle. Strong project management skills. Strong time management and prioritization skills Prior leadership of people experience is highly desirable. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field is required
