About the Role We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer with deep theoretical knowledge of software testing principles and strong critical thinking skills. The ideal candidate should be a highly adaptable professional that is able to independently analyze requirements, ask the right questions, and lead a dynamic evolving team. Key Responsibilities Test Strategy & Prioritization Develop well-reasoned and business-aware test strategies that consider product risks and customer needs Apply a risk-based approach to testing and prioritize test coverage logically and consistently. Manual & Exploratory Testing Test case management and execution Able to analyse requirements, business risks, consider edge cases and comfortable with feature decomposition Technical Testing & Tools Proficiency Demonstrate strong knowledge of web debugging tools, proxy tools, mock data, error handling and testing. Database data and query analysis for deeper issue investigation. API testing. Logs analysis, server issue debugging. Self-Sufficiency & Decision-Making Show strong independent problem-solving skills and the ability to ask the right questions to refine assumptions. Demonstrate the ability to analyze information beyond a “pattern-matching” approach and make decisions based on business and technical contexts. Proactively identify gaps and propose solutions. Process Improvement & Collaboration Effectively manage test cases and contribute to improving test management processes. Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality releases. Required Skills & Experience 8+ years of experience in software testing, preferably in a fast-paced SaaS or tech environment. Strong theoretical knowledge of QA methodologies, test types, and test design techniques. Ability to self-organize, think critically, and prioritize testing efforts based on risk and user impact. Familiarity with Agile methodologies, issue trackers and test case management tools. Bonus Skills (Nice to Have) Experience with test automation and scripting for API/UI testing. Familiarity with performance testing tools. Exposure to cloud environments and testing in distributed systems. Experience with simulators/emulators is a plus. Why Join Us?
