We are seeking a creative, and organized test engineer to perform manual testing on the next generation of interactive computing for our platforms and work with automated solutions to support and enhance our quality initiatives. Audio drivers, firmware and audio subsystems will all be areas of testing you will be responsible for. DESCRIPTION
You’ll be instrumental in the development and testing of our next-generation interactive computing platform. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the requirements, challenges, and existing tools. You’ll be involved in defining and refining team test tools, processes, and procedures. This role demands self-motivation, exceptional communication skills, and meticulous attention to detail. You’ll work effectively both within a team and independently. The dynamic nature of the job requires someone who can thrive under pressure and quickly adapt to new technologies for effective audio testing. We’re looking for a candidate driven by curiosity who prioritizes timely delivery of results. A keen ear for quality is a must.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
3-5 years of experience in general test engineering required. Expertise in audio testing, software testing, isolation issues, and developing test plans to meet specifications. A solid foundational understanding of electronic and audio technology. Ability to effectively triage problems, prioritize accordingly, and propose solutions. Strong ear for sound anomalies and the validation of sound quality. Familiarity with real-time audio handling, including sample rates, buffering, PCM, drivers, and related concepts. Experience working with automation and scripting is also advantageous.
