Embedded Audio QA Automation Engineer - Taiwan
The Embedded Audio QA Automation Engineer is responsible for developing and executing automated tests for embedded audio products. This includes designing and developing test cases, writing test scripts, and executing tests using automated test tools. The engineer will also be responsible for analyzing test results and reporting defects to the development team. The reason this title has embedded in it is because this is focused on testing audio chips. If someone is working on a car or something else, this won t be applicable. This person should understand I2S busses and Digital Mics.
Develop, setup and execute automated tests for embedded audio products
Design and develop test cases
Write test scripts in TCL and/or Python.
Execute tests using automated test tools
Analyze test results and report defects to the development team
Work with the development team to resolve defects
Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies in embedded audio
3+ years of experience in embedded Audio QA test development. This person should have experience testing Audio Chips.
Experience with automated testing tools
Experience setting up Audio test lab equipment.
Experience in scripting languages like TCL, python, etc.
Experience in using GUI Audio tools like Audacity, command line tools like sox, etc.
Experience in Audio CI test automation
Experience with embedded audio systems
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Estimated Min Rate: $20.00 USD
Estimated Max Rate: $25.00 USD /hr+ depends on work experience.
NT$106,000 to NT$133,000 per month + depends on work experience.
