Job Description

Summary

Become part of the world standard in electronics remanufacturing by performing software updates, replace components, and test electronic modules to ensure complete repair on the latest electronic technologies.  Hours for this position at Monday-Friday 10:00am-7:00pm.  This is an onsite position.  Hybrid or remote work is not available.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Some soldering of SMT (Surface Mount Component) chip components may be required.
• Performs quality control test, manual or automated, on unit to the specification of the manufacturer.
• Promote and adhere to United Radio’s Core Values.
• Comply with United Radio's policies and procedures, and quality systems.
• Perform other related duties as requested.

Education and/or experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).  Level of experience is determined by position being considered for based on departmental needs.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
• Basic understanding of mathematical concepts.
• Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

• Detail oriented.
• Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
• Prioritize duties and responsibilities appropriately.

Total compensation for this role is market competitive. The anticipated salary range for this position based out of Syracuse, NY is estimated hourly rate between $16-$19.
