Role & seniority: Electronics Repair Technician (entry to mid level); on-site role based in Syracuse, NY (no hybrid/remote)
Stack/tools: SMT soldering (occasional), quality control testing (manual/automation), basic Microsoft Office; adherence to quality systems and policies

Perform software updates, component replacement, and test electronic modules to full repair standards

Conduct quality control tests (manual or automated) per manufacturer specifications

Must-have skills

Job Description
Summary
Become part of the world standard in electronics remanufacturing by performing software updates, replace components, and test electronic modules to ensure complete repair on the latest electronic technologies. Hours for this position at Monday-Friday 10:00am-7:00pm. This is an onsite position. Hybrid or remote work is not available.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Some soldering of SMT (Surface Mount Component) chip components may be required.
- Performs quality control test, manual or automated, on unit to the specification of the manufacturer.

- Perform other related duties as requested.

Education and/or experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Level of experience is determined by position being considered for based on departmental needs.

Total compensation for this role is market competitive. The anticipated salary range for this position based out of Syracuse, NY is estimated hourly rate between $16-$19. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, and abilities, geographic location as well as other business and organizational needs.
